Brief Description
Business organisations usually correspond to a transport company (TU). However, there are also transport companies that comprise several business organisations. For example, if the company offers both rail and bus services.
Functional Description
The business organisations are used to allocate compensation and transport revenue on the one hand and for timetable publication on the other (other uses may also be possible). A business organisation is identified by a so-called “Swiss Business Organisation ID” (SBOID). It is part of the Swiss ID for Public Transport technical standard.
The data is managed in the atlas (see instructions) system. The source for the transport companies is the directory of transport companies published by the Federal Office of Transport. The reference between the business organisation and the transport companies is maintained and published in the atlas system by the customer information system management.
Technical Description
We offer the data sets in three “versions”:
- “Alle Versionen”: All versions of data.
- “Heute”: Daily updated status of the data.
- “Fahrplanwechsel”: Status of the data on the first day of the upcoming timetable (timetable change).
