Open source mobility router for Switzerland

Results of the market analysis: Open source mobility router for Switzerland:

On behalf of the Federal Office of Transport (FOT), the “Systemaufgaben Kundeninformation (SKI+)” team carried out a market analysis of open source mobility routers. The aim of the analysis was to assess the suitability of current open source solutions as a basis for a national multimodal router in Switzerland.
The project is in the context of digital sovereignty and the Federal Act on the Use of Electronic Means for the Performance of Public Authorities (EMBAG), which provides for the publication of software developed under public contract as open source.

Requirements for a potential MODI router

As part of the Call for Requirements, proposals for potential requirements for a possible national router were collected.
This initiative is part of the preparatory work for the state mobility data infrastructure (MODI).
The results are now summarised and published in the following document.
