Swiss Journey ID (SJYID) – List

This list links the business identifiers and technical identifiers of a train that has been published by the planning tool for railways (NeTS).

Functional Description

The business identifiers are:

  • Train number
  • Company code
  • Variant Number (list of days on which the train runs)

Technical Description

The technical identifier is the SwissJourneyID (SJYID)

To link these 2 identifiers, it is essential to consider the validity of the service.

The list contains the following information:

AttributeMeaning
VM-NummerTrain number
TU-CodeCode of the company responsible for this train
VarianteNumber of the variant (corresponds to a list of days on which the train runs).

AnkunftszeitArrival time. The arrival time relates to the planning date of the train’s departure station.
Liste der BetriebsdatenFor each date, from the day the list is created to the end of the timetable-period, a column is defined.

The column cell contains the following values with the following meaning:
  • 1: runs on this date
  • 0: not running on this date

Further information

The list contains all the planned trains running on at least one day, from the day the list is created to the end of the timetable period. Accordingly, SwissJourneyIDs are no longer listed from the export time when they no longer have any journey days in the corresponding timetable period, even though they are present in the target data in the corresponding timetable period.

The list is updated at least when a new file containing all the timetable information is made available (see also HAFAS Raw Data Format (HRDF)).

It is recommended that newly generated files are used systematically, as the relationship between job and technical identifiers may change.
