Event data
The basis of public transport is the timetable, which is planned annually and updated continuously.
Event data describes (planned and unplanned) incidents that influence the timetable (e.g. engineering works, cancellations etc.).
Data and interfaces
The data format for incident data such as incidents is: GTFS-RT Service Alerts and SIRI situation Exchange (SIRI-SX) / VDV 736 ready.
In order to bring together the planned, real-time and event data, a Matching is needed.
Availability varies depending on the transport company. For details, please refer to the two ‘Business organisations with incident data’ data records.
