Brief Description
The FOT list of stops is a publication commissioned by the Federal Office of Transport (FOT). It contains Swiss public transport stops and additional operating points relevant for timetable planning.

Functional Description
The publication only includes a subset of data from the Atlas system (formerly DiDok) in accordance with FOT specifications. The lists are aimed at users who want to look up information on stops “manually”.
The data is exported daily directly from the leading Atlas system and published in two versions “today” and “next timetable change” (new since 25 April 2024).
They are not suitable for regular, automatic data retrieval (e.g. for applications). To obtain the data machine-to-machine, please use the datasets from the Swiss Public Transport Open Data Platform (Service Centre Master Data group) or the Atlas API.
Technical Description
The data set is provided as a table. Exports (downloads) are available in CSV, JSON, Excel, GeoJSON, KML, FlatGeobuf (FGB), GPX and Parquet formats.
